The week culminates in an orgasmic event of wanton hedonism as Gay Pride teams up with Bed Supperclub's own Sunday night gay extravaganza - Think Pink. Some papers reported that the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park was a copycat of Disney theme park. They said that the characters inside the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park, including look-alike Mickey, Donald Duck and Cinderella were ugly. The character performers were not professional. They took off their costumes in front of visitors to cool themselves.  The report said that when a Japanese TV reporter asked the manager of the park if there was a character copying to Mickey Mouse, the manager replied that it was a cat with big ears instead of a mouse.  Media from Japan , USA and England also reported this issue. Some media commented that Beijing was stealing other people’s dreams.

Two columnists said that the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park was a copycat of Disney theme park. They criticized the slogan of that park was “Disneyland is too far away, please come to Beijing Shijingshan”. Many online chat room participants said that the Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park was like a copycat of Disney theme park where Disney characters such as Mickey, Donald Duck and Cinderella.  The columnists thought that it was strange to have Hello Kitty and Doraemon in the park. They said all characters appeared inferior with poor outlooks.
